Returns & Refunds

This policy applies to purchases made by consumers on sttswings.com. It does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Changed your mind? You have 14 days to cancel

If you buy from us online, you can cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason.

• How to cancel: tell us clearly in writing – email [email protected] with your name and order number, or use the cancellation form at the bottom of this page.
• Sending it back: please return the goods within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling, to STT Swings, Palatine Village, Carlow, R93 RX53. Please contact us first so we know to expect your return.
• Return costs: you pay the cost of sending the goods back. As a guide, returning a stand by courier typically costs €30–40; for everything else it is usually around €20.
• Condition: please return items unused, in a resaleable condition and in their original packaging, packed carefully so they arrive safely. You may handle and inspect an item as you would in a shop. If an item comes back used, damaged or without its original packaging, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
• Your refund: we will refund you within 14 days of being told you are cancelling, using your original payment method. This includes the standard delivery charge you paid. We may wait until we have received the goods back (or you have shown us proof that you have sent them) before refunding.

The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Faulty or damaged goods

Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged or faulty, contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the problem – please don’t send it back before speaking to us. We will arrange a solution and cover the cost of returning faulty goods.

Under Irish law you are entitled to:

• a full refund if you tell us about a fault within 30 days of delivery;
• after that, a repair or replacement – and if that isn’t possible or doesn’t fix the problem, a price reduction or refund;
• these rights can apply for up to six years from delivery.

Some of our products, such as LA SIESTA hammocks, chairs and stands, also come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. This is in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them.

Delivery

Delivery charges are shown in your basket before you pay. For LA SIESTA products we charge one delivery fee per order (€20, or €40 if your order includes a stand); these usually arrive 5–6 days after dispatch.
